Jordan Miller, a contributor to The Conversation, is an Associate Teaching Professor and Program Director for the Population Health, MS. With master’s and doctoral degrees in public health, she has been an educator since 2011, following over a decade of direct service work with families and children. Her research focuses on experiential learning in higher education, type 1 diabetes, and community development through urban agriculture.
