Amund Trellevik is an investigative journalist based in Tromsø, Northern Norway, with nearly 20 years of experience ranging from local newspapers to national media. He is a member of Investigate Europe, a cross-border network producing collaborative investigations across the continent.
For the past 15 years, Trellevik has worked with and in Russia and other post-Soviet states, focusing on East–West relations, freedom of expression, democracy and the Arctic region. He serves on the board of Norwegian PEN and chairs Barents Press Norway, a journalist network promoting press freedom, democracy, and cross border cooperation with Russia since the 1990s.
