We are delighted to feature this first-ever political cartoon from the creative team of Alex Gallego and Tod Hardin. It speaks to yet another growing relationship between two political strongmen, this time between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin. Their recent summit in Moscow came just days after Putin was charged with war crimes by the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Gallego and Hardin say Xi is obviously the true power here, propping Putin up in his time of need, as he reels from all facets of the failed war against Ukraine.
